Global warming is accelerating day by day.
Scientists who closely follow the bad trend have made frightening statements, Gadin.Net reports quoting oxu.az. Mankind has been warned of a catastrophe that could affect millions of people.
Experts say these floods could be seen more often, along with human impacts on nature, increasing hurricanes and rising sea levels. In the worst case scenario, coastal creatures, which account for about 20 percent of global gross domestic product, will be in danger of extinction by the end of this century.
Global warming is causing glaciers to melt. This means that by the end of the 21st century, it will be possible to see floods, which normally occur every 100 years, every 10 years. Scientists warn that floods could affect 23 million people in the next 30 years. Southeast China, northern Australia, Bangladesh and India are the most at risk for floods.
