Ramin Bayramli: "There was no staff for the launch of modular hospitals" - VIDEO

"Experts invited by the WHO and other international health organizations to our country give recommendations on preparations for the autumn."

According to Gadin.Net, Baku TV reports that Ramin Bayramli, the chairman of the board of the MEDICINE, said this at the opening ceremony of the transformation of the Hovsan and Absheron Olympic Sports Complexes under the Ministry of Youth and Sports into temporary hospitals.

According to him, all countries of the world are preparing for this, because it is very difficult to predict the course of the disease:

"Future mutations in the virus, along with other possible respiratory viral infections in the fall, and so on. can cause problems. This may increase the burden on health facilities. In this regard, all countries are taking precautionary measures. If you compare the number of deaths today with world statistics, you will see that this figure is less than two percent in the country. The average age is about 65 years. This shows that the preparation of our medical institutions, the correct preparation of treatment protocols have allowed us to protect the health of our people.

Answering the questions of journalists, the chairman said that if necessary, modular hospitals can be provided with medical staff:

"One of the reasons why the specialists we invited from abroad are here is that the trainings are held quickly. In fact, our medical staff is sufficient, we just need some experience to provide assistance in resuscitation. The recently opened Yeni Klinika medical center consists of 575 beds. Each of the five modular hospitals used has 200 beds. These make a total of 1,500 beds. These hospitals did not have staff to start operations. We have trained and directed the medical staff of other hospitals under the auspices of DOCTOR. The process will continue in this way. "

Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov said that the canteen and laundry operating in the complex will also be used by medical staff. Temporary partitions have been installed in two gyms of the Hovsan Olympic Sports Complex, and about 280 hospital wards and a 10-bed intensive care unit have been installed.

“We were able to create a resuscitation unit with the most modern equipment in 15 days. We have experience, and we would like this complex to return to its main activity for sports. But I also agree that there may be a pandemic increase in the fall. Therefore, we must be careful, "Rahimov said.

Lets` remind that, generators of appropriate capacity were installed for uninterrupted power supply of both complexes, current repair works were carried out and additional necessary communication lines and systems were laid. Additional ramps have been installed at the entrances and exits of the buildings.
