A criminal case has been opened against 10 coronavirus patients who left their homes in Azerbaijan - PHOTO

During the special quarantine regime applied by law enforcement officers in the country, a number of measures were taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and citizens were kept under strict control to prevent violations of the anti-epidemic regime and sanitary-hygienic rules.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the necessary measures were taken to react immediately to the information received from the DOCTOR, focusing on the observance of the rules by persons infected with COVID-19 and treated at home, not to endanger the infection of others. .

Only in July of this year, as a result of measures taken by Binagadi, Sabail, Sabunchu, Khatai, as well as Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Jalilabad, Yevlakh, Goychay city and district police, 10 people infected with coronavirus and treated at home left their homes and took to the streets. and endangered the health of others.

As a result of the measures taken, these individuals were immediately isolated and a criminal case was opened against them under Article 139-1.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan for creating a real threat to the spread of the virus by violating the rules of the special quarantine regime.

Measures are being taken in this direction.
