According to the Law on Medicines, the Tariff (Price) Council regulates the prices of medicines registered only in the State Register of Medicines of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The price is calculated taking into account the active ingredient, dose, commercial packaging, quantity in the package, country of manufacture, and according to the legislation, wholesale and retail sale of state-registered medicines must be sold at prices set by the Tariff (Price) Council.

Failure to indicate the price of medicines, selling them at a price different from regulated prices or selling them without regulation is a violation of price discipline, and the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for serious liability for pharmaceutical entities that commit such acts.

In such cases, it is recommended to apply to the Call Center 195-2 of the Ministry of Economy, the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry:
