Quarantine measures against the new type of coronavirus will not prevent the risk of infection in the future.
The statement came from US President Donald Trump, Qadin.Net reports quoting publika.az.
Speaking at a press conference at the White House, the president said that permanent quarantine is not a successful method to achieve the desired result. The disadvantages of this method outweigh the benefits.
Pointing to the resurgence of the pandemic in many parts of the world, Trump said the quarantines serve to save time, especially in hospitals, to improve conditions, gather more information about the disease, and develop vaccines and treatments.
