The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced the order of travel from Baku to the regions after the abolition of the SMS-permission and permission system on the portal from August 5.
The head of the ministry's press service, police colonel Ehsan Zahidov, told qafqazinfo that access to Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron region will be regulated as before: "Special police posts will operate at the entrances and exits of these three cities. Travel to other districts and cities is restricted. Once the permit system is abolished, citizens will not be allowed to travel to the districts with a service card. It can be allowed if it is approved after it is carried out, because we have come across in our official activities that some companies have abused the powers given to them. "
Zahidov added that mobile police posts continue to operate in Baku and other cities and regions where the special quarantine regime is applied. "Although these officers will not check the permits more than August 5, they will monitor the implementation of other quarantine requirements," he said.
