For persons whose employment contract is terminated on the basis of liquidation of a state body or legal entity, reduction of the number of employees or staff, the insurance length of service shall be reduced from three to one year.
This is stated in the draft law on amendments to Article 13.2.2 of the Law on Unemployment Insurance.
According to this article, during the 24 calendar months preceding the beginning of unemployment, able-bodied persons with less than 12 calendar months, but at least three years of insurance experience - in the amount of the minimum insurance payment provided for in Article 16 of this law.
Article 16 of the law states that the minimum insurance payment is equal to the minimum monthly salary set by the relevant executive authority.
The draft stipulates that during the 24 calendar months preceding the beginning of unemployment, able-bodied persons with less than 12 calendar months, but at least one year of insurance experience, will be paid the minimum insurance payment provided for in Article 16.
The document was developed to strengthen the social protection of the unemployed and expand the coverage of the unemployment insurance system.
