There will be no charge for a coronavirus vaccine in Russia.
The statement came from Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, Gadin.Net reports quoting publika.az.
"We plan to fully cover the cost of coronavirus vaccines from the budget. Accordingly, the vaccination scheme is known to all - it will be in the plan," Murashko told reporters.
Earlier, Murashko said that a mass vaccination campaign against coronavirus infection in Russia is scheduled to begin in October. Clinical trials of the vaccine, developed by the Gamaleya Center, have already been completed, and a package of documents for vaccine registration is being prepared.
