Members of the Turkish Nationalist Medical Association, who are on a visit to Azerbaijan, visited the family of Major General Polad Hashimov, who was killed as a result of recent provocations committed by Armenia in the direction of Tovuz region.
According to Gadin.Net, the Turkish doctors were accompanied by Emin Hasanli, chairman of the Public Union for Enlightening the Youth of Demobilized Soldiers.
Hasan Yavuzhan Bash, the deputy chairman of the association, and Khalid Gokalp Kuchuk, a member of the association, expressed their condolences to Samaya Hashimova, the mother of the martyr, and her family members, and presented the Turkish flag to the mother of the martyr.
Accepting the flag, the mother of the martyr expressed her respect and said she was proud that the Turkish people and government have always stood by Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the union Emin Hasanli said they were always ready to be at war with Azerbaijani military doctors. Hasan Yavuzhan, deputy chairman of the Nationalist Doctors' Association, praised what Polad Hashimov had done for his country.
Doctor Khalid Gokalp said they were always ready to do their best for the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood.
During the visit, Turkish doctors will visit the families of other martyrs, visit war zones and military units.
They will meet with the population in Aghdam village of Tovuz region on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
