A sudden inspection of the readiness of troops has begun in Armenia.
The statement came from Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Shushan Stepanyan.
The spokesman said that the inspections involved units of the first echelon, military units and part of the forces subordinate to the center.
Stepanyan said that the units were brought to a state of high combat readiness, their combat capability and ability to act quickly in tense situations were tested.
