Large shopping centers, which were suspended due to the pandemic, may resume operations in the coming days.
Gadin.Net reports with reference to Baku TV that repair work has already begun in the Sadarak shopping center. However, even if the stores open, it is expected that the relevant agencies will monitor compliance with the rules of the general quarantine regime in shopping centers.
According to Kamaladdin Gadim, spokesman for the Sadarak shopping center, the recent decline in the number of people infected with the coronavirus may lead to the opening of large shopping centers:
"As you know, large shopping centers have been closed in our country due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, due to the recent decline in the number of people infected with the virus, shopping centers, including the shopping center "Sadarak" may be opened. We are all waiting for the stores to open soon. Because there are tens of thousands of shops and about 30-40 thousand jobs. However, everything still depends on the decision of the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
It should be noted that the strict quarantine regime will end on August 5 in 14 cities and regions. It has not yet been announced which services will be allowed to operate from this date.
