The Center for Public Health and Reforms of the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with AMU and the Azerbaijan State Institute for the Improvement of Physicians and with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), has created distance learning opportunities.
At present, more than 15 training courses are offered on the online platform, 10 of which are directly related to the prevention, examination and treatment of COVID-19 virus, the ministry told Publika.az. The platform provides access to distance certified and non-certified training courses for health professionals in a variety of specialties, and provides ample opportunities for health professionals to increase their knowledge of coronavirus.
As knowledge and experience about the COVID-19 virus expand and change with each passing hour, it is especially important to keep health professionals and the public informed. Regularly, both increasing the medical literacy of the population and developing the professional skills of doctors and nurses play an important role in the fight against infection.
It should be noted that the new online training platform will also include various courses in neurology, radiology, infectious diseases, cardiology and other specialties. Online registration for distance learning courses is carried out through the portal www.ecourses.az.
