From today, members of the US House of Representatives, as well as their assistants, will be required to wear medical masks.
This was reported by CNN, citing Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the US House of Representatives.
"It will be mandatory for members and staff to wear masks when entering the building," Pelosi said.
Pelosi noted that during the speech, members of the chamber will be able to take off their masks.
