Weapons sold to Armenia in Tovuz battles? - OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Jordan has denied reports of arms sales to Armenia.
The statement came from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Qadin.Net reports quoting publika.az.

It was noted that Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Rasim Rzayev was summoned to the ministry and our ambassador was told that they were surprised by the summoning of Jordanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sami Abdullah Gosheh to the Foreign Ministry.

The statement said that reports of Jordan sending weapons to Armenia were at the "claim" level. The head of the Foreign Ministry's Office for Asia told the ambassador that the sale of weapons may have been carried out by private companies that bought weapons from the Jordanian defense industry.

Note that, on July 27, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry summoned Sami Abdullah Goshehi in connection with Jordan's arms sales to Armenia. The ambassador was concerned about reports that Jordan had sent weapons to Armenia during the fighting between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the direction of Tovuz.
