The United States is withdrawing 12,000 troops from Germany.
The decision was made by the Defense Ministry (Pentagon).
According to the report, 5,400 soldiers will be transferred to other NATO countries. The rest will return to their homeland.
The F-16 commando stationed in Germany will be transported to Italy.
