Allahshukur Pashazade congratulated the people of Azerbaijan

The Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) has congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on Eid al-Adha.
The congratulatory message received from the press service of the CMB reads:
“Bismillahir-rahmanir-rahim!
Dear Muslim brothers and sisters, dear compatriots!
We sincerely congratulate all of you on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, one of the most honorable holidays of the Muslims of the world, and ask our Lord to accept our sacrifices, prayers and worship in the presence of the Truth.
Eid al-Adha, one of the most sacred days in the Islamic world, has been decided as a moment of great joy and happiness for the Muslim Ummah as a memorial to the Prophet Ibrahim (as). The Feast of Sacrifice, which embodies the piety and love of mankind for its Almighty Creator and the grace and mercy of our Lord to His servants, has served for centuries for the solidarity, spiritual purification and perfection of people's faith.

Thankfully, thanks to the care and protection of our state, which has moral values, Azerbaijani Muslims have the honor to celebrate this blessed moment for two days. These days, our believers bless the state of Azerbaijan, the guardian of our national and moral values, His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the First Vice-President of our country, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, express our deep gratitude to our people, and wish them success in all their efforts. we wish.

We are celebrating this year's Eid al-Adha in a pandemic around the world. Worship sites are temporarily closed to protect human life, the most sacred value created by Almighty God. At a time when the pilgrimage to Hajj has been postponed due to the forced isolation of the pandemic period, it is acceptable to perform Eid prayers within the family. The temporary closure of places of worship due to quarantine should not harm piety. Sickness and hardship must be a means of seeking refuge in God, patience, trust, and repentance. We hope that people will come out of this test stronger and more spiritually purified, I hope!

On this holy day, which symbolizes solidarity, assistance and spiritual purification, it is a good deed to help orphans, the lonely, the elderly and the sick. It is God's will to give the joy of Eid al-Adha to our refugees, displaced people, orphans, people in need, especially those in need in a pandemic, and to make them happy. The distribution of sacrificial meat to the needy during the holidays, as well as the delivery of food or any gift, is a welcome practice. Sacrifice is important for pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, but in other places it is not necessary, but it is recommended, so this year it is recommended not to slaughter in public places under the quarantine regime. Many countries are taking this step in order to prevent the spread of the virus in areas where people are likely to gather en masse.

It is the moral duty of each of us to commemorate our martyrs who died for the Motherland on this holy holiday, to pray to God for the welfare of our Motherland and our nation. Our heroic officers and soldiers were killed and the civilian population was killed during the last insidious provocation committed by the hated enemy on our borders. Loving one's country is faith. Those who fought for our cause and were martyred for the sake of our homeland have risen to the highest level of faith and morality in the sight of God, as commanded in the blessed hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). May God bless all the sons of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives for our native land! May God grant us the liberation of our Karabakh from occupation and the restoration of the integrity of the Motherland, I hope!

In these blessed days, he prays for the well-being and happiness of our people, especially during the pandemic, in the direction of important measures, humanitarian steps and exemplary international cooperation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva to mobilize Azerbaijani society to protect the world from the nightmare of disease. We wish God Almighty success in its activities supported at the UN level. On this dear day, we pray to God Almighty to support the valuable activity of our esteemed head of state in protecting our independence and the victory of the cause of Azerbaijan!

In these sacred days, we bless the people of Azerbaijan, ask the Almighty Creator for mercy and forgiveness, and may the sight of God Almighty always be upon us. May God protect Azerbaijan! Amen! ”
