An interesting incident took place in Havzava village of Lankaran.
According to Gadin.Net, Baku TV reports that a substance similar to methane gas came out of the well he dug, according to Khanahmad Huseynov, whose families have lived here for almost a century.
Family members have previously drilled water wells in their backyards to operate on the farm, but to no avail. A few days ago, they decided to drill an artesian well again. A small amount of water came out of the well. When the depth reached 26 meters, bubbles were heard from the well.
The 62-year-old landlord says artesian wells have been drilled in the village for many years. But this is the first time they have encountered such a situation. They are able to take advantage of this situation, for example, it is not a bad idea to boil a kettle here. As fun as it is, homeowners who live one step away from the well are also concerned.
Relevant agencies have been contacted on the issue.
According to the Azerigas Production Association, the union's specialists inspected the underground gas pipelines passing through the area. No leaks were detected.
Employees of the State Agency for Safe Work in Industry and Mining Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were also called to the scene. It was stated that the well should be liquidated and concreted for safety reasons.
According to experts, there is a need for appropriate laboratory tests to determine the composition of the substance from the earth's crust.
