Mass vaccination against coronavirus has begun in the United States. The manufacturer announced this on its official website.
The American biotechnology company has announced the start of the third phase of clinical trials of the drug.
It is noted that 30,000 volunteers took part in the tests. Some of them will be vaccinated, while others will receive a placebo.
The US government has allocated about half a billion dollars (AZN 850 million) for the development of this vaccine. It is the first anti-coronavirus drug to be widely tested in humans.
