Images posted on Twitter about how the wall collapsed under the pressure of wind and rain were spread in a short time.
It is claimed that the destroyed wall is located on the border of the US state of Texas and the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.
US President Donald Trump has said that the wall on the country's border with Mexico is the strongest barrier in the world.
