GOOD NEWS from Turkey: A vaccine against COVID-19 has been produced

"We have produced 2 million COVID-19 vaccines and will begin clinical testing in late October."
The statement came from Turkish professor Ercument Ovali, who quarantined himself and his team and worked to find an effective treatment for the coronavirus, Gadin.Net reports.

Speaking to IHA, the professor said that the work on the vaccine will be completed by the end of February next year.

"The tests are ongoing. Tests on animals in Turkey have been successfully completed. The test animals were to arrive from the United States on June 22 for final testing, but there was a delay. They will arrive on August 10. The first genetically modified mice infected with the coronavirus will be sent. We will test on 1 month. Clinical trials will begin in October, "Ovali said.

It should be noted that the professor first announced that the vaccine will be ready on April 23. Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca reacted harshly to the statement, urging people not to play with people's feelings on social media. The professor closed his social media account after the criticism.
