The torch of the 1980 Olympic Games was sold at auction

A torch used at the opening ceremony of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow has been sold at an auction in Cannes, France.
According to Qadin.Net, the torch, designed by sculptors Boris Tuchin and Valentin Lubman, with the Games emblem and the Olympic logo, found a buyer for 2,500 euros.
Recall that on July 19, 1980, basketball player Sergei Belov lit the flame of the XXII Summer Olympic Games with the same torch.
