July 24 will mark the first anniversary of the funeral of pilot Rashad Atakishiyev, who died in a crash with a MIG-29 helicopter in the Caspian Sea in 2019.
The mother and brothers of the martyr, who live in the district, appealed to the district police department to obtain a special permit to come to the capital, Gadin.Net reports quoting publika.az. However, they did not receive a positive response.
After that, the martyr's brother Nijat Atakishiyev addressed an official appeal to Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov.
The appeal addressed to the ministry's website received a positive response within a few hours. The martyr's family was allowed to come to Baku to attend the annual ceremony.
Former vice-president of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation, former famous athlete Guloglan Jabbarov shared the information on his social media account.
It should be noted that the entrances and exits of the capital are closed within the quarantine regime, which will last until August 31. Only those with special permits are allowed to move to Baku.
