The news that logic questions will be asked in the teacher recruitment competition this year and will be replaced by questions on pedagogy and methodology has caused a certain echo.
The statement came from Jasarat Valehov, head of the public relations department of the Ministry of Education, Gadin.Net reports.

According to him, "Why should a person with higher (secondary) education have to retake the exam to work as a teacher?", "Why has the content of teacher recruitment exams changed?", "Who prepares questions on methodology?", "Why methodology?" There is no list of literature on "?", "How should candidates prepare for this exam?" and so on. such questions are also asked.

Answering these questions, Valehov said that the teacher recruitment competition is the most popular recruitment campaign in the country, so it is in the spotlight of both those who want to become teachers and the general public. On the other hand, the popularity of such a campaign requires additional mechanisms to select more educated and prepared people from a large number of applicants. In Azerbaijan, as in the rest of the world, the ultimate goal in teacher selection is to ensure the right of students to a better education:
