The US ambassador to Azerbaijan has been summoned to the Foreign Ministry in connection with the barbaric acts committed by Armenian radicals in Los Angeles.
In this regard, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Leyla Abdullayeva said:
"On July 21, radical Armenian Dashnaks living in Los Angeles held a protest rally in front of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles with aggressive and provocative slogans.
In response to the action of Armenian radical forces, members of the Azerbaijani community in California confronted the Armenian provocateurs, many times more than them, and chanted slogans exposing Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan and its policy of ethnic cleansing.
Radical Armenian Dashnaks have used violence and aggression against peaceful Azerbaijani protesters, and even the Los Angeles police, who are responsible for providing security, have failed to prevent their vandalism. Armenian radicals attacked Azerbaijani protesters, injuring seven people, including one woman.
Unfortunately, we would like to note that we are currently witnessing attempts by radical Armenian forces to use violence and vandalism against peaceful Azerbaijani protesters in various parts of the world, including the United States and a number of European countries. Such provocative actions, which contradict fundamental values, including the right to freedom of expression, and are generally incompatible with civil behavior, are a clear example of the aggressive policy pursued by the Republic of Armenia and its leadership by radical Armenian forces.
Armenian criminals should be brought to justice in Los Angeles, USA, as well as in European countries, including Brussels, for demonstrating violence and savagery against Azerbaijani demonstrators by Armenian radicals on July 22, and in ensuring the security of Azerbaijani communities in these countries. The law enforcement agencies of the countries must be held accountable. ”
