In Egypt, the research group Mummy Project has analyzed the mysterious "mummy of a screaming woman."
Ahram Online reports that computer tomography was used for this purpose. According to the results, about 3,000 years ago, a woman who was believed to be the prince of Egypt died of a heart attack.
The study was conducted by a group led by renowned Egyptologist Zaha Havass and Cairo University professor of radiology Sahar Salim.
The mummy in question is one of two "screaming mummies" known to science.
