As a continuation of the program to provide housing for the families of martyrs and invalids of the Karabakh war, 33 families of martyrs and war invalids from Salyan region were provided with housing today.
The statement came from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
They were given apartments in a new 68-apartment building in Shirvan.
Citizens provided with new apartments expressed satisfaction with the work done to improve the welfare of the families of people killed in the battles for the protection of the territorial integrity, independence and constitutional order of our country, as well as the disabled. They expressed their deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the constant care of the state, and today they are provided with new apartments that meet modern requirements.
It should be noted that the program to provide housing for the families of martyrs and disabled people of the Karabakh war is expanding year by year.
For example, in 2018, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population provided 626 apartments and individual houses, 3 times more than planned for the families of martyrs and war invalids, and in 2019, 934 apartments, 50 percent more than planned.
According to the President's instructions, 1,500 apartments and private houses will be provided to these categories this year. 368 apartments were provided to them last year.
In total, about 7,970 apartments and private houses have been provided to the families of martyrs and war invalids so far.
