The coronavirus vaccine, which is scheduled to be produced in August, could protect people from the disease for several years.
This was stated by Alexander Gintsburg, director of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after NF Gamaleya of the Russian Ministry of Health, TASS reports.
According to him, the COVID-19 vaccine will probably need to be updated from time to time, as the flu vaccine is changed every time. However, Gintsburg stressed that according to observations of patients, the coronavirus does not significantly change its structure.
