The Non-Aligned Movement Coordination Bureau has adopted a communiqué on the military provocation of the Armenian armed forces on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.
According to the Foreign Ministry, in the communiqué, the member states of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) strongly condemned the attack of the Armenian armed forces on the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces along the international border of the two countries using artillery. It was noted that the incident caused military tensions in the region and caused numerous casualties.
The Coordinating Bureau of the Security Council reaffirmed its support for the settlement of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the basis of UN Security Council resolutions.
Expressing their unequivocal support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the member states expressed their solidarity with the efforts of the Republic of Azerbaijan to restore its territorial integrity.
Thus, the 120 member states of the Security Council expressed their position on the recent military provocation of the Armenian armed forces on the border between the two countries and the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, based on fair and international law.
