As it is already known, the Baku metro will be closed during the strict quarantine regime, which will last until August 5.
Aide to the President, head of the foreign policy department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, who was a guest on the program "Target" broadcast on AzTV, clarified the issue of keeping the subway closed.
He said that the suspension of the subway is directly related to the fact that the subway is closed and operates on the principle of frost:
"The ventilation system of the subway is also centralized. If the virus enters the ventilation system, it can infect the entire system. Restrictions apply not only in Azerbaijan, but also in other countries in the fight against coronavirus from public transport to the first metro.
