Experts from the University of Copenhagen in the journal Nature Research predict that the world's mass obesity epidemic will begin after a coronavirus infection and long-term quarantine.

According to foreign media, scientists have cited stress and inactivity as the main factors that lead to weight gain during isolation. Russian experts also confirmed this problem in an interview with Izvestia.
