Warning from Sweden to Armenia

Sweden, which will chair the OSCE in 2021, will focus on security in Europe and, above all, the settlement of conflicts in the OSCE area.
The statement came from Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Ridberg in his speech on the main directions of the future chairmanship of the OSCE Permanent Council, Gadin.Net reports.
The Swedish official informed the member states that the time has come to fulfill the joint obligations set forth in the Helsinki Final Act and the Paris Charter of 1990.
Speaking about the current conflicts in the OSCE area, the diplomat said that their settlement will be the main issue on the agenda of the new chairman, and expressed his full support for the efforts to end the protracted conflicts.
Expressing deep concern over the escalation of violence and deaths on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, the Deputy Minister said: "We support the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the Personal Assistant to the OSCE Chairman-in-Office to defuse tensions."
