Johnny Perry, an American who has been a jeweler for many years, buried a treasure worth $ 1 million (AZN 1,700,000) in various places and left tips for his search.
This was reported by WJBK.
Dozens of valuables not sold at a Johnny Perry family jewelry store have been buried from Detroit to Michigan.
He and his wife spent four months burying the treasure.
The places Perry chooses are related to important events in his life. In some places he was forced to go kayaking.
The famous jeweler claims that each treasure contains diamonds, gold jewelry and rare coins worth $ 4,000 (AZN 6,800).
Perry plans to sell his tips to treasure hunters. When the treasure is found, it will be possible to learn it thanks to the GPS track buried with valuables.
The first treasure hunt will begin on August 1. The jeweler thinks he will be found soon.
"I don't think the search could take more than a week," he admitted.
