Violent fighting by the Azerbaijani Army in three directions has caused serious concern in Armenia and separatist-held areas. After the successful operations carried out by our army, the process of mass migration from these areas began.
According to Qafqazinfo, the number of people migrating to Armenia has reached 20,000 in five days.
Concerned, the Armenian government appealed to a number of international humanitarian organizations, especially the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, for assistance in resettling the refugees, but did not receive the expected response. Official Yerevan was advised to apply to donor organizations. All this is the result of a battle that lasted only five days.
According to the Armenian website 4rd.am, the loss of both live and military equipment by Armenians in recent battles has been enormous. Noting that more than a thousand Armenian soldiers were killed, the website quoted the occupied Shusha hospital as saying that hundreds of wounded were brought here. Among those killed were soldiers and junior and senior officers. Cars, heavy armored vehicles and artillery were destroyed.
Other Armenian news sites and Internet TVs reported from Khankendi that people were in a state of panic. Residents of Khankendi spend the night in basements after the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone escalates.
The situation has worsened in the last two days.
Iravunk newspaper reports that the Armenian population is worried and is leaving their homes en masse. A big migration has started from Khankendi. The so-called regime in Karabakh does not prevent the population from leaving their homes. Those who leave are not kept in posts. The soldiers are fleeing.
Despite calls from the government and Karabakh war veterans, young people do not want to join the army. They refuse to fight under various pretexts. The only hope is for the veterans of the Karabakh war. But the latest information shows that even the veterans of the Karabakh war do not intend to fight. Because the current battles are very different from the previous ones. This is confirmed by the Armenian confession of losses.
A reporter for the Russian newspaper Izvestia in Khankendi writes that mass and spontaneous resettlement of Armenians is taking place here, and people are being sent to Yerevan en masse:
"They are sent so directly that they don't even know if they have relatives there. But they say that they will be met by someone there. Police stop cars traveling to Yerevan on the way, and they put families in cars and take them to Yerevan completely free of charge.
Meanwhile, due to the military situation in Armenia, men between the ages of 18 and 55 are restricted from leaving the country. Some servicemen of the Armenian army protested on social networks, saying that they do not want to die for someone else's land.
The escalation of the fighting, along with the displacement of the population, paralyzed the entire life of the regime. Armenian Jokhovurd newspaper writes that Armenians fleeing the fighting in the frontline do not want to return even after the ceasefire. Some sites, citing sources in the so-called organization, say they have huge losses. Hospitals are full of the wounded. The mass use of aircraft, artillery and missiles by the Azerbaijani side has seriously frightened the regime in the occupied territories, and the fact that the strikes continue in the morning and evening has become a nightmare for them.
Undoubtedly, the main reason for the large-scale migration from Karabakh was the failure of the enemy's propaganda about the invincibility of its army. Apparently, the recent events have caused serious frustration among the local population. There is no doubt that the victory march of the Azerbaijani army will further expand this migration of Armenians.
