A serious danger of mineral water has been identified.
According to RIA Novosti, nutritionist Yelena Solomatina warned against the use of mineral water for treatment without medical indications.
He told the Vechernyaya Moskva newspaper.
The doctor said that there is no danger when a healthy person uses disposable mineral water.
"Another issue is the regular intake of mineral water. Then the process of saturation of salts of a certain concentration takes place. For example, the salts in mineral waters may be good for some, but may be harmful to other people's health due to the disease, ”said the expert.
He stressed that a healthy person should not use mineral water daily, and patients should not use it, and those who have problems with the gastrointestinal tract should use this water according to the doctor's instructions.
"I have witnessed those who came to the health resort with a referral to receive mineral water to spend time with friends," Solomatina said.
The expert added that the composition of these waters differs according to the level of mineralization.
"You can drink drinking water without restrictions, do not be too addicted to mineralized drinking water for treatment, and mineral water for medical purposes, as its name suggests, is for treatment," said the nutritionist.
