Baku City Executive Power has held a video conference on the state of preparations for the autumn-winter season this year.
According to the Executive Power, the meeting with the participation of the heads of utilities, farms and other institutions of the capital approved an "Action Plan" that defines the specific activities of each organization in the event of sharp changes in weather conditions in the autumn-winter season.
Speaking at the meeting, Baku Mayor Eldar Azizov said that as a result of the President's efforts, Baku's utilities were provided with various special equipment and continued work in this direction.
It was noted that the capital's authorities must immediately address the problems that may arise in the winter months. Special equipment of city and district executive authorities, departments and organizations must be in good condition, sufficient sand, salt and necessary inventory reserves must be created.
During the meeting, the heads of some service areas were warned about the shortcomings during the preliminary inspections in preparation for the season, and relevant instructions were given to eliminate the shortcomings.
