Despite the pandemic, the toll on the Alat-Astara road from the 31st km to the 204th km is on the agenda.

The road belongs to the first technical level. The road with a width of 15 meters and 4 lanes was built at a modern level and in accordance with all requirements.
The contractors of the road, the customer of which is the State Agency for Motor Roads of Azerbaijan, are the joint venture Evrascon-AzVirt of Azerbaijan, Turkey's Colin Inshaat, Turizm Sanaye ve Ticaret, Ozgun Yapi Sanaye ve Ticaret and Polad Yol Yapi Sanaye ve Ticaret, technical supervisor. Italy's IRD Engineering, Germany's Kocks Consult GmbH, the United States' TERA International Group and Japan's NIPPON KOEL UK Co.
In total, 24 bridges, 66 underpasses, 25 overpasses and road junctions, 4 tunnels, 51 km of shoulder-length concrete baths, 5 recreation parks, 166 km of reinforced concrete security and 140 km of metal protection fences were built along the highway. water pipes, road signs and information boards were installed and road lines were drawn.
