In Kansas, the family began searching for the missing dog. However, a Labrador nicknamed Cleo was found in an unexpected place - in the old house where the family lived two years ago.
It was discovered by the new owner of the house.
"I returned from work with my wife. Cleo was lying in the doorway. It seemed to me that he was waiting for someone, ”said Colton Michael, the new owner of the house.
The dog did not have a backpack around his neck, but because he was well-groomed, Mike concluded that he was a pet dog. He found a chip on Cleon, scanned it and learned the owner's name. The landlady noticed that the surname was the same as the surname of the previous owners of the house. Then Michael went to Facebook, found the page of the old landlord and saw an announcement that the dog was missing.
"I told him I found the dog. But when he told us where we were, he was surprised, ”said Michael.
It turned out that Cleo had traveled 90 km from Kansas to his old home in Missouri. Considering the river and the bridge with intense movement on it, it is thought-provoking how the dog manages to do this.
Cleon's owner, Drew, said he was thrilled to find the dog.
