Meatballs with peas and mushrooms (photo-recipe)

İngredients:
400 gr peas
10 mushrooms
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
5-6 tablespoons of olive oil
1 glass of tomato sauce
salt
black pepper

For the patties:

300 grams of medium-fat ground beef
Grated 1 small onion
2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper


Directions:
Knead the meatball ingredients and prepare walnut-sized meatballs and put them in the fridge. Chop the onion and mushrooms for cooking. Cut the garlic into 2-3 pieces.
Wash and drain the inner peas. Boil lots of water in a saucepan and add salt. Boil the inner peas in water for 5 minutes and drain and pass through cold water.


Take the olive oil and onion in a medium size saucepan and fry. Add the mushrooms and continue frying.
Add the tomato sauce to the pan and fry for 1 minute.
Take the meatballs into the pot, add the hot water until the meatballs reach their length.
Finally, add the peas, salt, pepper and garlic and cook over medium heat.
Serve hot.
