ingredients:
6 medium potatoes
1.5 cans of cream (300 ml)
1.5 cups of milk (300 ml)
Grated nutmeg with the tip of 1 teaspoon (optional)
Salt
Mill black pepper
150 g grated cheddar cheese
Directions:
Cut the potatoes into thin circles. Put the chopped potatoes in a bowl of water and wash and remove the starch.
In a medium sized saucepan, take cream and milk, add salt pepper and a little nutmeg if desired and mix.
Boil the potatoes that you have washed and strained in a pot until they soften slightly.
Take the potatoes that you strained with a colander in your ovenware. Pour 1 ladle of the mixture in a pot over it.
Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on it and cook it in the oven at 185 degrees until it is browned.
