İngredients:
a large slice of melon (250 g)
1 cup of lemon juice (10 freshly squeezed lemons)
1 glass of granulated sugar
Zest of 1 lemon (grated slightly more than 1 tablespoon)
1.5 glasses of water
3 glasses of water to add later (you can increase according to your taste)
Directions:
Grate the lemon peels with a fine grater.
Put granulated sugar, lemon zest and 1.5 cups of water in a small saucepan. Add water and boil by mixing until the sugar dissolves.
After the sugar melts, remove it from the heat and let it cool.
Slice the melon, add the lemon juice and blend it.
Add the cooled mixture to pureed melons.
Add 3 more glasses of water and let it cool in the fridge. (You can add some more water by tasting it, or you can consume it with soda as I did.)
Finally, strain it with a fine strainer or cheesecloth and serve.
