Lemon jam (photo-recipe)

Ingredients:

- 9 lemons (medium size)

- 1200-1500 grams of powdered sugar (to your taste)

- 150 ml of water

Preparation:

Peel a lemon and grate it. Do not throw away these shells, dry them and use them when cooking sweets. Put lemons in water and keep for 30 minutes. Cook the syrup.

Mix powdered sugar with water and cook over low heat until powdered sugar is completely melted. Remove the lemons from the water, cut into slices, add to the hot syrup, stir and leave for 1 hour. Heat the jam over low heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Leave for 6-8 hours, then cook again for 10 minutes. Fill the jam in sterilized jars while hot, close the lids and wrap in a blanket until cool.Bon Appetit!
