Natalya Pugacheva, a dietitian at the Health Management Clinic of the Institute of Private Medicine at Sechenov University, told the Moscow City News Agency.
He reminded that bananas contain potassium, magnesium, manganese and copper: "Potassium and magnesium are needed for the normal functioning of the heart, in addition, they are involved in the regulation of blood pressure. Copper promotes the synthesis of hemoglobin and collagen, as well as affects the neutralization of harmful substances. Manganese is important for energy exchange.
According to the expert, bananas also contain large amounts of vitamin B6 - pyridoxine: "This vitamin is important for the health of the nervous system, hematopoiesis, antioxidant protection."
