Men lose weight faster than women

A study in the journal Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism found that more than 2,200 overweight adults in Europe, Australia and New Zealand lost weight.
Each had a disease marked by a slight rise in blood sugar levels. In an eight-week study, participants followed an 800-calorie diet consisting mainly of soup, hot grains, and low-calorie vegetables.
