1. Lotus pose
In the lotus pose, which is the most well-known meditation pose, first the floor is seated cross-legged. If you wish, you can put a cushion under your hips. Your spine should be absolutely upright. After cross-legging, the left foot sole is placed facing upwards of the right calf, in the same way the right foot sole is placed on the left calf. This position is often preferred by advanced meditators.
2. Egyptian stance
It is a meditation position performed by sitting on a chair. In this position, the back and spine should be straight, and it is also important that the feet are on the ground. Thus, it creates a suitable ground for people who have the problem of standing upright to solve this problem. The advantage of this posture is that it allows you to comfortably meditate in the park, subway or anywhere.
3. Japanese stance
In this pose, known as the Japanese posture or kneeling, the meditator sits on the floor with his feet under the hips. As with any meditation posture, it is important that the spine is straight in this position. In this posture, you can balance your hips by placing a cushion under your ankles. The Japanese posture is a form of posture used in Zen meditations.
