The SuperShe island, 90 kilometers west of Finland, on the Helsinki coast and where men are not allowed, was founded by the American entrepreneur Kristina Roth on the demands and needs of the women she met. The island, where women can have a free holiday, was officially opened to visitors in July last year. We have written all the curiosities about the island, which offers a holiday opportunity where visitors can eat healthy and have a pleasant time without being disturbed. Let's see how the SuperShe island was formed, how much is the accommodation fee, what is being done on the island.
Only women are allowed on SuperShe Island. The island's founder, Kristina Roth, explains that this is because women, wherever they are in the world, are harassed wherever they go. Influenced by the stories told by the women he met during his travels, Roth decided to establish an island where women could spend their vacation without being disturbed, and the island of SuperShe emerged. Roth, who sold his company with an annual turnover of $ 65 billion and bought the 8-hectare island, named it SuperShe. It took about two years to get SuperShe ready for guests. The old huts on the island were renovated, saunas, massage, yoga areas and kitchens for cooking classes were set up for visitors.
Before going to the island, it is necessary to fill in the pre-registration form on the website. Visitors are accommodated in bungalows on the Supershe island, which is built on an area of 8 hectares. Out of 8,500 women who applied last year, only 120 responded positively. Women admitted to the island, which hosts only eight women each week, can only stay on the island for five days.
