Who doesn't love chocolate? One of the biggest wishes of chocolate lovers is undoubtedly, chocolate pouring from the sky. While we thought we could only see such a scene in movies, cocoa powder poured into the city due to a malfunction in Lindt & Sprüngli's factory in Kilchberg, one of the most famous chocolate brands in Switzerland.
Many people living in the town of Olten in Switzerland woke up one morning to the cocoa powder falling with snow from the sky
Due to the malfunctioning of the ventilation system at the Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate factory, cocoa powders rained all over the town, of course residents were shocked by the incident.
The factory made a statement on the subject and said that the crushed cocoa bean pieces, which form the basis of the chocolate, were scattered around due to a small problem in the ventilation line in the cooling system.
Due to the heavy wind, the chocolate powders spread from the factory reached all parts of the town and left a thin layer on the snow. The company stated that they will do their part to clean the spreading chocolate powder.
However, no one in the town has yet made a request to clean the chocolate powders. To be honest, when you experience something like this, would you prefer to clean or eat?
After this small accident, production continued normally at the Lindt & Spruengli factory. The company also said that the cocoa powders emitted are completely harmless to humans and the environment.
The ventilation system has been repaired, so unfortunately for Olten residents it looks like there will be no more chocolate snow for the foreseeable future.
