SAYILABİLƏN VE SAYILA BİLMƏYƏN İSİMLƏR
İngilis dilində isimlər sayıla bilən və sayıla bilməyən olmaqla iki qrupa ayrılır. Sayıla bilməyən isimlər isə material və maddədən ibarət bölünə bilməyən, hiss duyğu, mücərrədlik bildirən isimlərdir.

| 1. Sayılabilən tək isimlərin önünə "a, an" gələ bilir və cəmdə işlənir. A cat - - cats A problem - - problems An orange - - oranges An umbrella - - umbrellas 2. Sayıla bilməyən isimlərin önünə "a, an" artıklı işlədilməz və cəmlənə bilməz. Bu isimlər təkdə işlənər. Mübtəda kimi işləndikdə xəbər də isimə müfaviq olaraq təkdə işlənir. | Some: biraz,birqədər (sayıla bilməyən isimlərlə), birneçə (sayılan isimlərlə) Any: heç neçə (sayılan isimlərlə), heç qədər, heç (sayılmayan isimlərlə) Some ve Any hem sayılabilen cəm isimlərlə, həm də sayıla bilməyən isimlərlə işlənir. Some təsdiq cümlələrdə, any ise inkar və sual cümlələrində işlənir. |
